White, horned. Vigorous and good looking head with strong horns. Broad and short neck. Shoulders a bit coarse, wide chest and good conformation. Excellently muscled back. Broad and very muscular loins. Gigots exceptionally muscled and well shaped. Straight and well placed feets. Longbodied and dashing sire.
Wool

Tan fibers on head and tail. A little bit of tan fibers in the fleece backwards. Black fibers were found here and there in the fleece. Wool quantity more than average. Rather shortwoolled on back. Medium fine thog.

Nli was progeny tested at Hestur Experimental farm in 1999. His progenies showed excellent meat qualities, both concerning carcass and fat grading. In lamb evaluation Nlis progenies have performed very well, showing thick and well shaped eye muscle, great leanness and superb gigot muscling.

Nli is homozygous white.
